The following are obligations and terms agreed upon by both County Line Kennels [Joyce Vaughn] and the customer for the sales transaction of a puppy from County Line Kennels. A copy of this agreement/invoice will be sent via text and/or email when the deposit is made to secure ownership of a selected puppy.
As payment for puppy, customer agrees to pay County Line Kennels [Joyce Vaughn] the purchase price of selected puppy. A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required upfront to reserve the selected puppy and final payment is due in full before the customer takes possession of the selected puppy. However, if a deposit is made prior to delivery, the deposit may be refunded should the puppy expire during delivery. Deposits can be made by Venmo (plus the seller transaction fee), CASH APP (plus the seller transaction fee), or CASH. At the time of pick up, CASH will be required to pay the full balance owed to take home your selected puppy. There is a seventy-two-hour health guarantee with your selected puppy. Should health problems arise inside the seventy-two-hour window, contact the breeder, and return the puppy. You will be given an $800 credit to choose from future litters.
Deposits will only reserve your selected puppy for 14 days after puppies are deemed ready to separate from the mother, unless other arrangements are made. If you change your mind on your selected puppy and choose another unsold puppy, your deposit can transfer to your newly selected puppy. In the event your selected puppy does not work out in his/her forever home, you may surrender your puppy back to County Line Kennels per the “return to breeder agreement”. NO REFUNDS will be given in the event of surrender. Each case will be evaluated separately to determine the eligibility for a refund.
When you pick up your selected puppy, you will take home a puppy bag with puppy food samples of the food they started eating first, pee pee pads, a dog toy, & a blanket (that has his/her siblings and mother’s scent), and an informational page with instructions on how to register your new puppy, plus how to login CKC website to view all of your puppy information that you will need to begin life with your new best friend. We spend a lot of time socializing with our puppies and they will want to be with you most of the time! For the best bonding possible, you will want to spend as much time as you can to begin your relationship with your new puppy, learning to communicate with them and learning their likes and dislikes. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or just need advice for your new puppy. We also have contacts with a local company that provides obedience training for you and your puppy. PLEASE ASK!
Thank you for your business!
What is Return to Breeder Agreement? Every responsible breeder hopes that the homes they send their puppies to are their homes for the duration of their life. Unfortunately, sometimes life events are out of our control. Sometimes things like illness, moving overseas, divorce, or financial problems lead people to a situation where keeping a dog in their home is not in the dog’s best interest. If something like this were to occur, County Line Kennels “return to breeder agreement” ensures that the dog’s best interest is considered if a change of living situation is needed. We will accept any puppy back, but a refund WILL NOT be given.

Notes regarding return:
There is a big difference between a Responsible Preservation Breeder and an irresponsible breeder. Sometimes referred to as “backyard breeders”, irresponsible breeders breed dogs without much effort in breeding selectively and are generally doing it to make money or simply for the experience of raising puppies. A responsible preservation breeder is someone who is dedicated to contributing to the preservation and improvement of their Miniature Dachshund breed.
